Founded in 2005 by Tony Schibono, Arktyp is driven by a passion for design and the power it has to make a difference to our clients and their products and services.  We approach every project as a problem solving exercise in clarifying value and enhancing experience. We believe in and nurture an environment where real skills, genuine talent and open minds grow and continually discover the interplay between logical systems and creative inspiration.

We are not web generalists, "bootstrapers" or jacks-of-all-trades, but rather focused designers with with a particular understanding of contemporary culture as well as systems design. We've worked with clients in various industries from software companies to web-startups, corporate communications and entertainment and publishing. We believe that diversifying the type of work we take on expands our insights and design sensibilities, preventing us from falling into the the trap of trend following or developing a dependency on a signature style. Our design process is a variation on a simple approach as old as design itself - research, exploration, iteration and application.
